Tigger

Tigger in Tree Tigger

This is Tigger. She was an awesome tabby cat who I had the honor of living with for almost eight years. She was THE most adventurous cat I have ever met, constantly hunting and exploring. She was scared of nothing, I once saw her chase an entire family of raccoons through my backyard! She was very protective of me and would not tolerate me owning any other cats (I tried and it didn’t work out…). Unfortunately this adventurous spirit wound up being her demise as she was hit and killed by a car one night. She would have been eight years old the next day. I still miss her.

:( I know how you feel. I just lost my 11 year old cat on Saturday.

    • Hey Steph,

She was such a silly turd, always climbing trees and bringing me “treats” LOL!

  • Awww you know I love kitties. She was really cute – tabbies are so cool and often very fearless.

  • So sad to read about the demise of Tigger! I have owned several adventurous cats myself. One of them is still alive and kicking, 17 years old. :)

    • Hi Feline,

My first cat lived to be 17! She was the laziest cat on earth though, she rarely ventured off the porch :)

Oh, Kelly, I’m so sorry she was killed that way. That’s horrible. I’ve, thankfully, never lost a pet that way. Mine all either died of old age or, in the case of Kimo (who died almost three years ago), congestive heart failure. The vets thought she kept getting cases of kennel cough but we’re pretty sure it was heart failure. She had all the signs. She was only 3.5 years old (I’m not gonna cry, I’m not gonna cry, I’m not going to cry in school. It still hits me hard when I think about how young she was). She was a very good (albeit sickly) dog. I miss her too.

Tigger sounds like she was a such a bundle of joy! I’m sure she gave you many happy days while she was around.
