Illamasqua Nail Varnish Obsess
Good morning!!
This past weekend was really bizarro, we had a freak thunderstorm here, and in case you aren’t familiar with the SF/Bay Area, we rarely get thunderstorms even in the heart of winter. It was kinda fun actually! The best part was my dog didn’t even seem to hear it, but then again he is 15 and starting to lose some hearing 
The worst part was that the weather was crappy all weekend, and with no sun meant no swatches, until now…
Today I’ve got your first peek at swatches of one of Illamasqua’s new nail varnishes from their Dystopia collection for fall/winter. They have two in this collection, and I’ve got Obsess to show you. Check it!

Obsess is a bright, blue-based pink creme. It’s positively gorgeous, and this is coming from me, not a huge pink fan, mind you! What I love about this is just how blue the undertones are. It totally flatters my skin tone, and I will most certainly be wearing it both as a mani and pedi. The formula was fantastic as always, I had no problems. It was totally opaque in two coats.
Their other color is called Velocity, and it’s a muted grey/purple creme. I haven’t yet got my hands on that one, but I intend to!

Yes you gotta get it if you like pinks at all, it’s beautiful!
I’m not a pink fan either but I cast my eye over this at the Blogger event recently and loved it. I should be getting this tomorrow, all being well. And Velocity too (I ordered them both!)

That is a gorgeous pink on you. I don’t need to buy a pink this expensive. I have perfectly lovely pinks that are much less money.

Hi Kelly, I just recieved my Illamasqua Velocity and I am impresed with quality but my question is if you have any problem with their caps. I cannot fully close my Illamasqua, I posted some pictures on my blog and I´d really appreciate if you can see them and tell me if it is normal. Thank you.
