CND Colour Effects Featuring Green Scene
Morning!
Today I’m going to show you CND’s color Green Scene with the same five effects I used yesterday with Asphalt.
Some of these are harder to tell the differences with on camera because they are pretty subtle. Check them out and let me know what you think!
Green Scene
Green Scene on it’s own is a great bright grass green creme. I love it as it, but when you add some effects, it gets even better. This was extremely opaque in just ONE COAT, as was Asphalt. Amazing.
Green Scene with Ice Blue Shimmer on thumb, Sapphire Sparkle on pointer, Amethyst Sparkle on middle, Emerald Shimmer on ring and Jade Sparkle on pinky
Green Scene with Ice Blue Shimmer
I love this because I like the cool blue over the green, it looks really cool!
Green Scene with Jade Sparkle
This again is my favorite effect. Something about this one really just looks excellent with every single polish I have tried.
Green Scene with Sapphire Sparkle
This is pretty subtle but pretty.
Green Scene with Amethyst Sparkle
I like this one too, you can really see all the blue and purple shimmer.
Green Scene with Emerald Shimmer
This is nice also, it’s a little frosty looking, but not that horrible 80′s frost we all loathe so much.

All the green shades with the sparkling effects look gorgeous and beautiful on your nails. I especially love the green with the “Ice Blue Shimmer,” and the green with the “Jade Shimmer.” I wonder if you added all the shimmers all at once and create a mosaic effect then add a matte finish what would that look like? Maybe too much shimmer? Amazing.

I was just curious if these effects double as a top coat in a way, or if they are still in need of one, as in they are too bumpy in a sense to be the top coat? (hope that made sense)

They are not bumpy at all, totally smooth. I would still use a top coat actually.

love the green. are you much of a konad user? i love opaque colors on the first swipe because then i can use them for konading as well…
