Ginger + Liz Nail Polish

TGIF again peeps! I am really behind on my posts since my site was out of commission for awhile there, so I may be posting two articles a day for awhile. Didn’t think you would complain! :)

I am pleased to exclusively bring you a NEW nail polish brand you may never have heard of called Ginger + Liz. This line was created by model/author Sara Liz Pickett and entrepreneur Ginger Johnson. Together they have over a decade of experience in the fashion, beauty and marketing worlds, which led to the creation of Ginger + Liz. Currently they offer about 10 nail polishes, but they have only just begun, and I can’t wait to see the upcoming fall/winter colors!

Ginger + Liz
The packaging that these came in is so cute! A little wire basket with a black bow, and the pretty little polishes are all nestled inside resting

Ginger + Liz Boy Toy
Boy Toy

Boy Toy is a really pretty almost Tiffany blue/robin’s egg blue. The finish is just shy of a creme. It’s got a very subtle muted yellow shimmer to it that makes it special. This went on a little sheer but after three coats it was perfect. This is a super flattering color and I like it a lot!

Ginger + Liz Swagger
Swagger

Swagger was impossible to capture correctly on camera! It’s a molten looking pale pink-gold metallic. I tried over and over again to capture the pink in this but it just wasn’t happening. It reminds me of old fashioned rose gold jewelry, which was popular a long time ago, and it’s very different from any other gold metallic I own. I LOVE it! This was two coats and went on flawlessly.

Ginger + Liz Put A Ring On It
Put A Ring On It

Put A Ring On It is a gorgeous medium pink creme. The application was really smooth, opaque and nice on this, I used three coats for full opacity.

Overall I am super excited to have this new brand around and really liked all three of these colors. The application seems to be really nice and they all dried fairly quickly as well. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in the future! These are not on sale yet and their website isn’t “live” just yet, but keep your eyes peeled!

They are lovely colors on you. I love all three colors. I hope they will sell these without the basket. I should imagine they would be more expensive with it. I also don’t need any more baskets. Do you have any idea what the price will be? Swagger is my favorite. At least it’s a little different. The other two I’ve seen before. But their still gorgeous colors.
