Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009

Howdy folks! Diamond Cosmetics has a great new collection out for fall 2009 which is comprised of six new colors. They vary in color from nude to green and from sheer to shimmery.

I have only reviewed a few of Diamond Cosmetics colors so far, but from what I have seen I really like them. Not only do they have great colors that don’t all play it safe, they have a great formula, are “big three free” and are very inexpensive at only $2.00 each! Check ‘em out!

Diamond Cosmetics Angelic Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009
Angelic

Angelic is a nude/pink sheer color. This is a very professional looking polish and would be great for a job interview or something that required your nails to look clean, yet understated. What I love about this one is that it’s so shiny even without a top coat! This was two coats.

Diamond Cosmetics Sweet As Sugar Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009
Sweet As Sugar

Sweet As Sugar is a really pretty pale pinky/beige color with fine peach, pink and green shimmer particles. This would make a great layering color. This was two coats.

Diamond Cosmetics So Berry Sweet Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009
So Berry Sweet

So Berry Sweet is a bright raspberry pink that goes on really sheer and watery but builds up nicely after three coats. This isn’t what I would traditionally think of as a “fall” color, but I like that they think outside the box and I’m not one to wear polish according to fashion rules anyway! This was three coats.

Diamond Cosmetics Never So Ever Green Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009
Never So Ever-Green

Never So Ever-Green. Holy mind of Minolta this is an amazing green! The color is a mossy dark green with gold and light green shimmer. This is now ranked high in my favorite greens ever, it’s so gorgeous. This was two coats.

Diamond Cosmetics The Naughty Intern Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009
The Naughty Intern

The Naughty Intern is a deep red creme. This isn’t really an original color for me and probably not something I would wear, but it is still pretty. This was two coats but I probably could have used three to make it s little more even.

Diamond Cosmetics Plum Pie In The Sky Diamond Cosmetics Nail Polish for Fall 2009
Plum Pie In The Sky

Plum Pie In The Sky is an awesome dark plum/grey creme. I love colors like this and no, it doesn’t look black indoors. It’s definitely really dark, but if you compared it next to a black creme polish you would see it’s a lot less harsh. This was two coats.

Overall I am very pleased with this collection, I think it offers something for everyone and at only $2.00 each, why not get ‘em all!?!? You can find these and their other colors here.

you have officially made me broke. I went hog wild and bought over 100 colors, and it hasn’t even been a full month.

bravo my dear for a job well done! ;-)

I don’t like this collection very much. It might just be me, but it really isn’t my thing at all.

  • I’m not sure I like this collex much either. The only one that really stands out for me is Never So Ever-Green. I guess I’m just so used to being spoiled with out-there colors that I so pine for, that seeing these colors just appears safe to me.

I think this collection is great. I’ve bought several of there collections in the past and have never been disappointed. They have great nail treatments too at very affordable prices.

I ordered a load of polishes from Diamond Cosmetics. Unfortunately a few days later the Fall collection came out. Darn! I love Never So Ever-Green. Greens are my absolute favorite. I’ll have to get this. Sweet As Sugar is lovely. Looks like your nails are sugar coated. Plum Pie in the Sky is difficult to see the color. I love this company. Such a fantastic price for these polishes.

    • Hi Lucy,

Oh you gotta get Never So Ever-Green on your next order from them it’s well worth it. Plum Pie was hard to capture on camera it’s a deep plum that’s kind of greyed out and “dusky” looking. Very nice!

Why does Never So Evergreen look so different at Scrangie? Did one of you get a mismarked bottle?

    • HI Erin,

It looks like hers was taken in the shade, mine was in the sun.
