Barielle All Lacquered Up Collection for Fall 2009 – Part II
Here we go with Part II of Barielle’s All Lacquered Up collection for fall 2009. There are quite a few that I really love in this set and not a single one that I didn’t like or that didn’t flatter me. Totally spot on! Peep ‘em out!

Putt-E-On Me
Putt-E-On Me is a fabulous mushroom taupe creme. If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know that mushroom colored polishes are some of my very fav and now this one joined the rest of them. There is something that’s so “out of the norm” with colors like this and that’s why I like them. I like wearing colors that you won’t see people like Dina Lohan or Paris Hilton’s mother wearing (yuck). This was creamy and opaque in just two coats.

Get Mauve-ing
Get Mauve-ing is a really pretty mauve creme. Normally I am not a huge mauve fan, BUT this one is slightly dusty, giving it a more edgy look. I love it and this was two coats.

Out-Grey-Gorgeous
Out-Grey-Gorgeous is a silver/grey shimmer with gold micro glitter. This was my least favorite of this bunch, surprisingly. I don’t know why but it didn’t do a whole lot for me. It’s still nice, but I’m not falling all over myself like with some of the others. This was two coats.

Pin Up
Pin Up. Wow. Ok this really took me by surprise, it’s SO pretty and I really love it. Red isn’t usually my thing unless it’s blackened or super dark, but this one is just amazing. It’s a bright tomato red with gold micro glitter. And I don’t know what it is about the application on this one, but it almost applied itself it was so creamy and smooth! I totally forsee myself wearing this with MAC Well Red or Russian Red lipstick in the near future. This was two coats.

Make It A Latte
Make It A Latte is a beautiful cocoa brown with gold shimmer. Not sure why it’s called “Make It A Latte” since lattes are a lot lighter than this, but who cares, I love it. Seriously, this is my favorite of these six. I like to be a rebel and not pick the obvious fav (which is the next one). Something about dark shimmery browns totally appeal to me and this really flatters my skin tone as well. Plus it’s got that ‘lit from within’ effect, which is one of my favorite things ever in a polish. This was two coats.

Falling Star
Falling Star is the one I mentioned is probably the fan favorite, it is a really unique color. The base is a medium blue and it’s packed with small copper colored glitter. The combo of blue and copper is great and makes it like nothing else I have seen out there. This was three coats.
Overall I am super happy with this whole collection of 12 colors Michelle and Elle from Barielle worked so hard on. It’s incredibly rare to find a collection where I really like all the colors and would actually wear 95% of them (the one I would love to wear but can’t is Polished Princess, sadly, it’s way too yellow for me). There wasn’t a single color in here that was boring or looked like a million other polishes out there. Add to that the fact that the formula rocked and almost all were two coaters and that makes for a great collection!
You will be able to find these on Barielle’s website here starting in August. The polishes are $8.00 each, but if you buy 2 you get a third one free.
So which ones do you see yourself buying when they come out? You can see my review of Part I here if you need a refresher.

Welcome! My name is Kelly and Vampy Varnish is a cruelty-free beauty blog.

I would like to get falling star. It is so unique.
Oooh! I really like big parts of this collex! I really WANT 8 of them, of course Falling Star is a must have because of its uniqueness! Slate of Affairs and Polished Princess are others I really want. I hope they’ll be sold in the UK as well – us Europeans can’t order from Barielle US (and hence won’t get the 3 for 2 deal), a fact I’m deeply depressed about. Or, almost. You know.

Hi Feline,
Oh no, I hate that! I think all nail companies should sell everywhere, it’s just not fair!
Hi Kelly:
I plan on getting the entire collection of all Michelle’s 12 nail varnishes. I think it’s incredible that she started her web blog about two years ago and now she has her own signature collection! I can’t think of that many hard working nail varnish web blogger s who get a fantastic chance as Michelle has done. So, as a big fan of her web blog, (as well as a big fan of your web blog Kelly) it’s only fair to purchase her entire collection as a tribute to nail varnish web blog sites everywhere.
The polishes look amazingly beautiful on your nails Kelly as always, you make the colors even more spectacular! That’s another reason I am buying it, LOL!
((((((Love Kelly)))))

Love Pin-Up, Make it Latte, Get Mauveing and Putt-E on me! It’s funny how now if I’m at the drugstore, shopping for nailpolish, which used to be a favorite thing, is now impossible after reading your blog for awhile! The regular colors at the store now just have no appeal, and I’m always looking for something a little different. These colors are great and I’m definitely going to order. Thanks!
I want all of them except the silvery grey and the blue one. I loved all the others…I so want them!!!
Thanks for swatching them
Pin up looks awesome!
beautiful swatches, as always! I’m definitely buying a ton of these when they come out – I’ve got a list of about 7 but I’m trying to narrow it down because my wallet is aching for the Illamasqua polishes (specifically Muse and Milf when they’re finally available on Sephora!)
you’re the best!
I LOVE get mauveing! That is a beautiful dusty purple I have never seen before!
I absolutely want Falling Star. I’ve been putting an old Jane glitter topcoat that has copper and gold glitter over Dirty Sexy Money and loving the look, so Falling Star gives me something similar in one bottle. I love copper glitter and it isn’t easy to find!!
Falling star was really diffrent and beaytiful! Thanks for sharing
I bought the complete collection. I love every shade. Michelle did a really good job with these. My favorite is Falling Star. I wore that first. It is such a gorgeous shade. I love the copper glitter in it. It is spectacular.
