Nail Bliss Drama Queen Nails

Happy hump day! Today we have some artificial nails from Nail Bliss called Drama Queen nails. These are really cool, funky designs geared towards the younger or “more daring” set.

What I love about these is that they are on the short and small side. Most of the artificial nails I have come across are way too wide for my nail bed and insanely long, so these seemed perfect in that way. Also, these came with both adhesive tabs and glue so you can either wear them for a few hours or a day with the adhesive tabs or up to a week if you glue them on. Check ‘em out.

I think these are just so freakin cute with the little skeleton surrounded by gold glitter and the plaid pink, red, black and gold french tip. The nail color itself is like a very milky pale pink. Inside the kit there are 24 nails in 12 different sizes so it was easy for me to find the perfect fit. Those with wide nails beds or who like more than a 1/4 inch of length on their nails might want to look at a different type of nail.

Illamasqua Nail Polish – Part 8,943

Illamasqua. It’s a word I’ve been saying A LOT lately and will be saying even more once they hit the US and Sephora this year, WHOO HOO! Seriously, I am totally amped up about this and am pretty sure they are going to rival MAC as far as my favorite makeup brand. I love brands that are edgy and different and cater to a “darker” side of people’s psyches, because that’s where my psyche lies most of the time!

Anyway, this isn’t really part 8,943, but I have posted so much of their fabulous nail polish I feel like it is. Check these beauties out!

Milf

Ahhhh Milf. It may have a “controversial” name, but really, who cares? The color is so freakin fabulous it could be named Hairball Soup and I would still love it. This is a superb minty green creme, I think the best one I have ever applied. The application was on the thicker side, but not unwieldy. This was fully opaque in two coats.

ME ME ME Nail Polish

More polish from London! This time we have a brand called ME ME ME, which I found at a SuperDrug store. I wasn’t able to really find much information online about who makes this stuff, so I’m winging it with what I know!

This is definitely a lot more inexpensive than the GOSH polish was. I believe these came out to about $4-5 US dollars as opposed to GOSH’s $9-10. I could definitely tell that these aren’t  an “eco-friendly”  because the smell was a lot stronger than the “3 free” polishes we are used to now.

The formula was pretty good though, some were a wee bit sheer for my tastes, but overall I liked them enough. Sorry the pics are a little “blown out” below, it was high noon when I took ‘em, which is the worst time to take pictures!  Check ‘em out peeps…

ME ME ME Pewter ME ME ME Nail Polish
Pewter

Pewter is a shimmery metallic polish that yep, is pewter colored duh! I really love this color and it’s not that often I find metallics that I really like. Pewter is definitely a “metal” color that works for me. This was three coats.

GOSH Nail Polish

I am finally getting around to posting some of the polish I got in London!

GOSH Cosmetics is a pretty cool cosmetics brand that hails from Denmark. They started as a pharmaceutical company more than 60 years ago. In the 1950′s, they expanded into producing toiletries including cosmetics and fragrances.  They now sell their products in over 60 countries, but are relatively new to the USA (yes they DO ship here!).

Another big plus, they are rated “Cruelty Free” by PETA, yay!

They have some really nice nail polish colors which I came across in a SuperDrug store. Considering this is “drug store” polish, it ain’t cheap! In US dollars these came out to around $9-10 dollars, but I HAD to get them anyway (not knowing I could get them online at home of course).

The formula on all of these was really great, I didn’t have a single issue and they were pretty opaque as well. Check ‘em out!

GOSH Metallic Green GOSH Nail Polish
Metallic Green

Metallic Green is a very pretty celadon green color. This is the exact color of an old MAC polish I had about 8-10 years ago that for some dumb reason I got rid of! This is a “true” metallic, in other words, there is no mistaking this finish for shimmer or anything else. I didn’t have much of a streaking issue as you can see. This was two coats.
