ME ME ME Nail Polish
More polish from London! This time we have a brand called ME ME ME, which I found at a SuperDrug store. I wasn’t able to really find much information online about who makes this stuff, so I’m winging it with what I know!
This is definitely a lot more inexpensive than the GOSH polish was. I believe these came out to about $4-5 US dollars as opposed to GOSH’s $9-10. I could definitely tell that these aren’t an “eco-friendly” because the smell was a lot stronger than the “3 free” polishes we are used to now.
The formula was pretty good though, some were a wee bit sheer for my tastes, but overall I liked them enough. Sorry the pics are a little “blown out” below, it was high noon when I took ‘em, which is the worst time to take pictures! Check ‘em out peeps…

Pewter
Pewter is a shimmery metallic polish that yep, is pewter colored duh! I really love this color and it’s not that often I find metallics that I really like. Pewter is definitely a “metal” color that works for me. This was three coats.

Emerald
Emerald is not emerald first of all. It’s more of a pale sea green shimmer and it’s very sheer. This is three coats here and I still could have used 2 or 3 more! Pretty, but not for me.

Amethyst
Amethyst wasn’t amethyst either! This looked far more reddish/coppery to me than amethyst, though I can see a tinge of purple to it. This is another metallic and it was three coats.

Cleopatra
Cleopatra is most definitely the best of these, just knocked my socks off! It’s a stunning deep navy blue with small light blue glitter that sits towards the top of the surface so you get major shimmer. I am telling you, this one is fab, check out the macro shot below. This was three coats.

Black Steel
Black Steel is a really cool black polish with silver shimmer. This one is also really great, but I don’t feel is THAT different from a lot of other blacks with silver shimmer. This was three coats.
I don’t think you can get these in the US unless you try eBay, unfortunately, but hopefully some of you Europeans enjoyed this post and have access to the polish!

Welcome! My name is Kelly and Vampy Varnish is a animal friendly beauty blog.

i definitely agree that cleopatra and black steel are the best of the bunch – stunning dark colors!
Love amnethyst on you!
Mmmm, must checkout Cleopatra next time I’m in Superdrug.
MEMEME is exclusive to Superdrug (in the UK at least) and is made by Vivalis who also make Collection 2000, Batiste, Fade Out, Jerome Russell and Constance Carroll.
Hi Cali,
Ah ha, thanks for the extra info! I couldn’t find anything online about them!
Hi Kelly:
I love them all, LOL I don’t think there is any nail varnish here that I would not try on and see how it looks.
It’s really how you apply the nail varnish that makes your nails so knock-out, and because I love visiting your awesome web blog it’s suich a treat like a floral design with it’s bright and bold colors.
The Pewter, Emerald, Amethyst ans especially Cleopatria (thanks for the micro shot, it’s dazzling with it shimmering blue effects) and even Black Steel, they all are dazzling. If I could find these I would get the whole entire collection. There just so good-looking and pleasing to the eye. Your nails make the whole package seem more luxurious than ever. Thank you for doing that, taking so much pride in your work. What more can I say? Have a sensational weekend.
((((((Love Kelly))))
Mc Huggs
Cleopartra is beautiful!!!! When I saw Pewter I thought to myself “Wow, I would kill for an eyeshadow that color!!” ;D
OMG I desperately want Cleopatra.
Hi Mc Huggs,
Thanks! I do a lot of sneaky clean up of my nails after I paint them, which is why they look so “clean”
Have a great weekend!
Hi Tanya,
You ain’t kidding, it would make a great shadow color!
Hi Phyrra,
Somehow I knew you would like that one. It’s really amazing.
