Illamasqua Nail Polish – Part 8,943
Illamasqua. It’s a word I’ve been saying A LOT lately and will be saying even more once they hit the US and Sephora this year, WHOO HOO! Seriously, I am totally amped up about this and am pretty sure they are going to rival MAC as far as my favorite makeup brand. I love brands that are edgy and different and cater to a “darker” side of people’s psyches, because that’s where my psyche lies most of the time!
Anyway, this isn’t really part 8,943, but I have posted so much of their fabulous nail polish I feel like it is. Check these beauties out!
Milf
Ahhhh Milf. It may have a “controversial” name, but really, who cares? The color is so freakin fabulous it could be named Hairball Soup and I would still love it. This is a superb minty green creme, I think the best one I have ever applied. The application was on the thicker side, but not unwieldy. This was fully opaque in two coats.
Spartan
THIS IS SPARTAN!!! So spartan isn’t pure gold glitter as you can see in the bottle, it’s also got a bit of silver mixed in and the base is clear. This is super blingy and I LOVE the name. 300 happens to be one of my favorite movies not only because I love historical movies and Gerard Butler, but also because I love Frank Miller movies. This is three coats.

Harsh
Harsh is the silver glitter pictured here. This is a pure silver glitter polish and the base is also clear. It would be great topped over many different colors. This is three coats.
I am bound and determined to own every single Illamasqua nail polish at some point. I think I’m closing in

Kelly – you said the MILF is a creme but looks sparkly in the bottle.. is that just the photo… I love the minty greens… I bought Laguna Lagoon so I have to stop buying polishes when I have a similar color (for now).

Milf is controversial but so would Orgasm & Deep Throat, wouldn’t it? I do like Milf since it’s a unique green. I agree with they will rival MAC. I am sort of over with my MAC obsession. There hasn’t been a collection in a long time that I have been excited about.
I am so with you on wanting the whole collection. I am up to about 12 at the moment.
I currently have Milf on my toes with a splash of Harsh as a glittery tip and it looks amazing.
I’m trying out Fern this week – a mid blue and really shimmery and cannot wait to get it on my nails!
