GOSH Nail Polish

I am finally getting around to posting some of the polish I got in London!

GOSH Cosmetics is a pretty cool cosmetics brand that hails from Denmark. They started as a pharmaceutical company more than 60 years ago. In the 1950′s, they expanded into producing toiletries including cosmetics and fragrances.  They now sell their products in over 60 countries, but are relatively new to the USA (yes they DO ship here!).

Another big plus, they are rated “Cruelty Free” by PETA, yay!

They have some really nice nail polish colors which I came across in a SuperDrug store. Considering this is “drug store” polish, it ain’t cheap! In US dollars these came out to around $9-10 dollars, but I HAD to get them anyway (not knowing I could get them online at home of course).

The formula on all of these was really great, I didn’t have a single issue and they were pretty opaque as well. Check ‘em out!

GOSH Metallic Green GOSH Nail Polish
Metallic Green

Metallic Green is a very pretty celadon green color. This is the exact color of an old MAC polish I had about 8-10 years ago that for some dumb reason I got rid of! This is a “true” metallic, in other words, there is no mistaking this finish for shimmer or anything else. I didn’t have much of a streaking issue as you can see. This was two coats.

GOSH Golden Brown GOSH Nail Polish
Golden Brown

Golden Brown is a light brown mixed with a ton of gold shimmer. The brown reminds me of the golden brown sugar that I use for my chocolate chip cookies! This is two coats.

GOSH Ocean GOSH Nail Polish
Ocean

Ocean is mesmerizing! LOVE this blue. It’s a medium ocean blue with light green shimmer. Very mermaid-esque. This was three coats.

GOSH Golden Dragon GOSH Nail Polish
Golden Dragon

Golden Dragon is my favorite of all these, just stunning. This is a green/blue with tons of fine yellow shimmer. It reminds me of peacock feathers, it’s really amazing. This was three coats.

GOSH Purple Heart GOSH Nail Polish
Purple Heart

Purple Heart is a nice blackened dark grape shimmer. It was misleading though because in the bottle, it looked like it was going to “flash” green (you can see the green swirl in there), but on the nail, sadly, it didn’t. It’s still a nice color and this was three coats.

GOSH Black Passion GOSH Nail Polish
Black Passion

Black Passion is a black polish with a lot of fine silver shimmer. I really liked the look of this because there was sooo much silver shimmer it definitely didn’t look like a basic black color. This was three coats.

You can find GOSH Cosmetics on their website here and they deliver to many different countries. Happy shopping!

  • Hi! I swatched the Purple Heart today, and it’s very clearly duo chrome in natural lighting! :-) I haven’t put any pics up on my blog yet, but I’ll try to get it done tomorrow, so you can see for yourself. ;-)
