Zoya Dare Collection for Fall 2009
Today I have Zoya’s Dare collection for fall 2009. This collection suits me better than Truth since they are all cool colors and totally “my style”. There are 4 cremes, 2 shimmers and all applied really nicely.
Zoya’s really banging them out this season and they are going to have three more fab colors coming soon, so stay tuned for info!!
Demi
Demi is a really beautiful muted mauve creme. I am really loving this on the nail, it’s super flattering and definitely screams “fall” to me. This was two coats.
Ciara
Ciara is a dark pink creme with a hint of purple to it. It’s a really pretty berry color, perfect for fall. This was two coats.
Vanessa
Vanessa was probably my least fav of this bunch just because it wasn’t anything shockingly original. It is really flattering on though and the color is a cool red that leans towards pink. This was two coats.
Pinta
Ahhhhhhhh Pinta! SO fabulous she is and the fav of the bunch for me! This is a deep “blurple” creme, which means a cross between blue and purple. I do not own anything like Pinta and absolutely adore it. This was three coats.
Envy
Envy is HAWT! It’s a dark moss colored green that has a slight shimmer to it, which is really only visible directly in the sun. This one didn’t apply as evenly on me as the others and after just two coats it was too light and uneven. After three however, it was right on!
Ibiza
Ibiza is a place I would love to visit AND a bad-ass nail polish color! She’s a dark shimmery navy blue that looks like she glows in the sun. Fabulous application, I only needed two coats.

So what are you guys up to this weekend? Today I am headed up to the Napa area for a nice lunch with the hubbie. Afterwards, we’re going to go on a photo excursion since it’s supposed to be fabulous weather. Whoo hoo!

Definitely like the dare collection better. I think Pinta, Envy and Ibiza are must haves.

Oohh, I love Demi, Envy, Pinta and Ibiza! I think I will have to get all of those when they come out. I have found that Zoya is the only polish that does not start peeling off of my nails after one day, so it is my new favorite brand.
Dude. Truth is A-Mazing. They’re all pretty, but the last 3 are gorgeous!
Now this is more like it! I’m liking this collection a bunch more than the ‘Truth’ one. The ones I’m REALLY lemming for are Ibiza, Envy, Demi, and Ciara, but I love ALL these shades. And as always, they look stunning on you.
That’s more like it! I far prefer these to the other half of the collection.
Ibiza (the place) was great fun about ten years ago but now I’m not so sure. Very expensive and full of idiots. It’s still a gorgeous island with many good bars and clubs though. I’ve got to organise a hen party there for next summer – argh!!
