Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Nail Polish – Part II
As promised here is Part II of the new Sally Hansen HD Hi-definition colors for summer. These are my favorite four of the eight, what do you think?
Pixell Pretty
Pixell Pretty is a gorgeous shimmery shade of ocean blue. It reminds me of mermaid scales, if they existed. This one was more creamy than some of the others, it didn’t seem as thin and I only needed two coats.
Hi-Def
Hi-Def is a super vivid *alien* green. This one has a lot of yellow to it, which I really like. It was thinner and I could have used three coats, but I only did two for this pic.
Blu
Blu is a hard blue to describe! It definitely does look like the swirling blue light on my HD DVD player! It definitely has that electronic” blue feel, whatever that means. This was two coats, but again I could have used three for more opaqueness.
Cyber
Cyber is my favorite one of all these. The purple is simply stunning. It’s a grape color that has a slight pink flash to it from the shimmer. This was three luscious coats.
These will all be available at your local Sally Hansen supplier starting in July and they will retail for $5.95 each.

I don’t know about the rest of the U.S. but here in Ca they’re already available at Walgreens and Longs/CVS.

i ran into these little guys at my local cvs and was wondering what they looked like on! they seem to have a super clean base to them and l love their metallicky shimmery goodness!
i have to have the green and the pink they are just fabulous hmm maybe the blue too aww heck i mind as well try to collect them all lol !

Good to know they are already out in CA. I am in CA, but haven’t yet seen them. The stores around me can be slow to get ‘em though!

Yeah they are really vivid and shimmery/metallicky and cool! I love the pink one, something about it is so pretty!

Wow! I love these colors on you. At my Walgreen’s they have these, and I fell in love. Unfortunately, they only have BLU, Hi-Res, and maybe Lite left, since I’d already gotten the one in Pixel Pretty. I think Pixel Pretty looks great against black nail polish, but I’ve yet to try it on its own on my nails.
Ooooh, these pics are *great*! The displays are in Rite-Aids now (I have pics of them on my blog if you’re curious–just search under “Sally Hansen”) but I have been scared to buy a bottle because I haven’t heard much about how they apply. But now after seeing your pics I’ve just got to get that blue! Actually, all of the colors look so pretty on you!
Also, have you seen the new Maybelline Flash of Gold polishes yet? I bought one and I can definitely say that they’re jellies with slight golden shimmer. The color of the shimmer is what’s slight–you can barely tell it’s gold, which kind of defeats the purpose, if you ask me! But the shades are super pretty and they wear well.
I like Blu a lot! Pixell Pretty and Hi Def are also great.
I just picked up Blu & Cyber today at Walgreens. I would have grabbed more, but those were the only colors they had left! I’m hoping to stop by my local CVS next week to see if they have them. They are moving buildings so hopefully they will have more colors to choose from!
Gorgeous! If I had these, I’d do a skittle manicure.
Is it just me, or does Hi-Def look a lot like Paper Chasing from the China Glaze Custom Kicks collection?
