Orly Matte Couture for Fall 2009
Orly is following the latest trend and coming out with three new Matte colors for fall. These ones are meant to be worn over a base coat, which I like because they are dark and most likely would stain nails if worn without. The deets are:

Put on your Blue Suede shoes (and nails!) in blue crème
- Play your favorite (Matte) Vinyl record in black crème
- That crushed Purple Velvet suit gets an updated look in purple crème
They will be available in September and retail for $7.50 each. You can find them at Sally Beauty, Ulta and online!

I like some of them. I really like ManGlaze and KO. The OPI’s were a little chalky for my taste overall. I think the Zoya’s look amazing and more satiny as these hopefully are also. we shall see!
I can’t wait to see a medium/dark green matte! That’s probably the only time I’d buy a matte polish. Otherwise, I’ll just get a matte top coat and use that with the colours I already own.
By the way, have you tried matte top coats? I’m curious – do they tend to dry really fast?

I have not tried matte top coats actually so I really don’t know if they dry as fast as matte polishes do.
Love the Orly Matte colors. Do you have an idea when they will be released?
