Illamasqua Nail Polish for Summer 2009
Illamasqua released two new colors for summer and I got ‘em both for ya! As per usual, they rock. I haven’t come across one yet that I didn’t love from this company, I swear! I am practically peeing my pants thinking about what they could possibly have in store for us for fall. You KNOW a vampy-ish company like this is gonna have some sick dark colors and I am really excited to see what’s in store!

Muse
Muse is a really pretty and uncommon teal blue creme. It’s not the same kind of teal we have seen from Misa and Essie and butter LONDON though. This is darker and has more grey to it. A peacock teal perhaps? I don’t know. I do know I love it (sorry for the messy application on my middle finger) and it only took two coats to apply.

Lament
Normally I would Lament about wearing a color like this…Get it? Ok for real, this isn’t my “normal” color BUT turns out I really do like it. It’s a cheery coral creme that is more on the pink and cool side rather than warm and orange side. I think maybe that’s why I like it. Normally coral reminds me of old ladies in Boca Raton Florida, but this is definitely not THAT coral folks. It applied great and I only needed two coats.
So I think you probably all know this by now, but Illamasqua does ship to the US now so if you want to check ‘em out, you can see them here.

Eff yes! An Illamasqua post!!!!!! I like the teal cream best out of the two
) The coral is nice, but I don’t think it would look great on my skintone, and I know the brightness of it would drive my eyes nuts everyday. I have sensitive eyes :}
Hi Rachel,
I love the teal also. And just wait, there will be another great Illamasqua post soon plus a giveaway…
I have five or six Illamasquas and Muse is definitely up there as one of the best in terms of application and wow factor. I adore it.
Lament isn’t as much of a “me” colour, but it’s really pretty.
Oh yes – what will they come up with next? I’m still waiting for Milf to come back in stock as I can’t wait to get my hands on that one – or that one on my hands, as it were!
Can’t wait!
LOVE Lament, even if it is grandma-ish!
