Rescue Beauty Lounge – Part II
As previously mentioned in Part I of this series, I got some rad-ass Rescue Beauty Lounge polishes for 50% off recently during their 1 day sale. I sure hope some of you were able to take advantage of that! Here are the other four that I purchased.

Dead Calm
Dead Calm (I always spell this “Clam” for some reason) actually does make meclamcalm when I look at it. It’s a deep mesmerizing navy blue creme. I wouldn’t say it’s totally original, there are a number of colors very similar (Misa On The Edge for instance) but it’s still pretty. It’s nice and opaque too at just two coats.

Film Noir
Film Noir is one I have had my eye on for at least a year and while I like it, it didn’t blow me away. I feel like I have a lot of vampy wine colored cremes already. Having said that I DO like it enough to wear it, so it wasn’t a waste of $$ (but I am glad I didn’t get it for full price). This was two coats.

Under The Stars
Under The Stars is another one I have wanted forever and THIS was worth it! The photo doesn’t do it justice at all folks. It’s a deep blue base with tons and tons of small light blue glitter particles in it. They tend to “sink down” into the polish so it’s like there is light coming through the background. I don’t know what I am talking about actually, pay no attention. Anyway, you WILL like this if you like blue’s so just get it already! I think this was only two coats but it could have been three.

Black Russian
And now for my fav of this bunch, Black Russian. First off the name is fabulous. I like to pretend I am a Russian spy sometimes and if I was THIS is the color I would be wearing. It’s a blackened dark red with light red glitter particles. Again with the particles sitting in the background of the polish giving that lighted glowy effect (whatever freakshow, you are thinking!). This was three coats and worth every damn drop!
You can find Rescue Beauty Lounge polish here for $18.00 each.

I soo glad you did a swatch of Black Russian nail polish. I ‘v been on the fence about getting it. Now i really i have to get this:)
I like the Black Russian a lot. It’d be interesting to see how it compared to ChG’s Lubu Heels- since it’s a black red with sparkles.
under the stars and black russian both look so splendid
i don’t think i would allow myself to buy their polish even with half off – they’re still pricey!
Hahaha, you do the clam thing too!
Your picture of Black Russian is out of this world!
