MAC Style Warrior Nail Polish
MAC’s latest makeup collection is called Style Warrior and they included three new nail polishes. I swatched these the second I got them last night, I was so excited! So keep in mind that the light isn’t the best since the sun was starting to go down. Also my nails are NUBS right now. Had to cut them WAY down because they are splitting like mad. I really don’t think they like all this swatching and polish 
Peaceable
Peaceable is a light frosty champagne color. Because this is a frost, it’s not my favorite. I just am not a fan of frost. It also has very tiny almost imperceptible glitter in it that is green and pink. It went on fairly sheer and was surprisingly non-streaky for a frost. This is three colors.
Violet Fire
Violet Fire was a little disappointing to me as well. The color is a medium purple that has a lot of pink in it. The bottle calls it a “creme” but it’s definitely not. It’s got a lot of silver and pink shimmer to it. I didn’t think it was great though because it was extremely sheer and I got some annoying tip shrinkage. This was three coats and I could have used another, as you can see from the tips.
Mercenary
Now THIS is more like it! Mercenary totally rocks and I love the name. The polish is coppery, like melted pennies with a heavy gold foil like finish. It’s got tiny green and pink glitter in it also. I absolutely LOVE this color, it’s totally unique to me and the application was nice and opaque. This was two coats.
Overall the only stand out of the three for me was Mercenary. I think a lot of people will like Peaceable too, but you’ve got to love frost to like that one. Violet Fire just wasn’t anything original and way too sheer for me. What do you guys think, yay or nay on these?

I have to say that Mercenary looks magical! I’m sorry about your nails splitting :/ Mine are crazy peeling and I’ve just decided to keep them covered in pretty polishes!
You are right on the money with the description of Mercenary. I think that I like this color and may even purchase it AND since I’ve only EVER bought 1 MAC polish…it wouldn’t hurt to add this one to my ever growing collection. lol

It is magical! I wish I knew why mine kept doing it! I wear a nice base coat that’s gentle and I use non-harsh polish remover. I think it’s a hereditary thing.

You SHOULD get this one. There aren’t a ton of MAC polishes I feel the need to own, but this is definitely one.
I’m loving Mercenary. I HAVE to go get. This looks like a must to me! I hope it doesn’t sell out like Peppermint Patti!

I’m a Mercenary fan too. Lovely. What with that plus the gorgeous MACs that Mary’s shown this week on Body & Soul I may need to check MAC out PDQ.
I have an eyeliner the same color as Mercenary! It’s my favorite eyeliner at the moment and is slowly diminishing. Mercenary may help my copper fix
