So remember last week I showed you some metallic nail polish from Sephora? Well today I am showing you the three glitter polishes I got. Overall I was not at all impressed with these. The polish was thick and stringy and it’s so hard to work with mini brushes, especially when the polish is gloopy. A couple of the colors were ok, but nothing to write home about for me. Background:
Kiss My Face started 25 years ago by two young guys living on an organic farm. They decided to create an organic beauty product and so they created a huge bar of soap created with olive oil from Greece. They brought the soap to New York City to sell and got a great response from retailers, who bought up everything they had. So they decided to launch a company called Kiss Organics and it was the very first line of facial care products created with organic ingredients. They don’t test on animals, they don’t use animals ingredients, they don’t use artificial colors or unnecessary chemicals.
The second collection Zoya has for summer 2009 is called La-Di-Da. These are cremes and four of them in particular are neons (though they call them Ultra Brights). Pics taken in sun/clouds with no top coat.
Zoya has two new collections out for summer 2009 and today I am showing you the metallic collection called Ooh-La-La. I have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of these beauties and as soon as they came I swatched them even though the sun was only peeking out here and there.
