Here we have Deborah Lippmann’s two new colors for summer 2009. For me, neither one of these was a huge hit. They were both nice, but I don’t feel like they were anything totally original or amazing. Not to mention I am a little miffed at them because they have horrible customer service! Been trying to get ahold of them for 5-6 months many times and they never, ever email me back. Oh well, THEIR loss! Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

Call Me Irresponsible is a bright grape purple creme. I loved this one in the bottle, but it was pretty sheer going on and even after three coats (which is what I have on here) you can still see the nail through it in certain areas. I really wish it came out like it looks in the bottle!

Sephora by OPI just put out their summer 2009 called Mermaid in the Shade that I am excited to show you today. The formula on all of these was really nice, I had no problems. Some were a bit sheer but that was remedied by an extra coat (or two). All pics taken in sun with no top coat.

I took these a few weeks ago and just haven’t gotten it together to show! I am slacking this week, I know, I know. I have TONS of stuff to swatch but since it’s so nice out I don’t feel like swatching all day long. Good things to come though, I promise! So this is Orly’s Carnivale collection for spring 2009. There were some hits & misses for me with his collection, which you will read about below. Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

I have a REALLY cool giveaway for one lucky person (sorry, US residents only)! Kiss My Face has generously provided me with a TON of products for me to try and a set for me to give away!
Background:
Kiss My Face started 25 years ago by two young guys living on an organic farm. They decided to create an organic beauty product and so they created a huge bar of soap created with olive oil from Greece. They brought the soap to New York City to sell and got a great response from retailers, who bought up everything they had. So they decided to launch a company called Kiss Organics and it was the very first line of facial care products created with organic ingredients. They don’t test on animals, they don’t use animals ingredients, they don’t use artificial colors or unnecessary chemicals.
