BB Couture Nail Polish
TGIF! BB Couture, which is rapidly becoming a favorite brand of mine, is coming out with some *SICK* new colors and I am showing you the latest ones today. Three of these I absolutely LOVE and two are nice but kind of strange for me. Pics taken in sun with no top coat.

Blind Love is a really great metallic gold/silver that has a foil like finish and a greenish tint to it. In the bottle the stuff looks totally weird and cool. It looks thick like molted metal. The color is somewhat like Chanel’s coveted Kaleidoscope, but this is slightly darker and a tinge more olive colored. That’s the closet dupe to it that I own. The polish is opaque and not streaky at all and this is only two coats.

Iced Olive. Need I say more? I don’t, but I will anyway. This is a MOST FABULOUS olive green shimmer that flashes yellow. It is somewhat similar to China Glaze’s now discontinued MoonPool however, Iced Olive is a bit darker, has less yellow and the shimmer particles are different colored. The second I got this one I did a full mani and what can I say, it’s now one of the best greens EVER in my opinion! This is three creamy wonderful coats here.

Dark Knight is so great, I had to show you a close up. I don’t even know what to call this color. It’s black, brown and olive green all at once somehow. Though I loved Iced Olive, this one is now my favorite BB Couture color. I think I am just a sucker for anything dark and vampy and this fits the bill. It’s definitely NOT black and doesn’t look black in low light. In the sun you see a slight similarity to China Glaze Wagontrail because it looks like a really dark olive green. Its super shimmery and jam packed with tiny gold particles as well. The consistency was amazing and smooth and this is three coats here.

Here’s where we get a little “weird” for me. Kokomo is part of their 80′s collection. It’s a VERY sheer, dare I say watery, wash of pale yellow. I love the idea of this, but it just didn’t work on me. It was super streaky and impossible to get even. Maybe it would work better if I put a coat of white underneath? This was three coats.

Electric Avenue is also in their 80′s collection. This one is a sheer wash of pale blue that was a little less streaky than Kokomo, but still just didn’t work for me. This is three coats.
I HIGHLY recommend you try out BB Couture polish because they are coming out with some amazing colors lately and the consistency for the most part is spot on. You can find them here and they retail for $8.00 each. Have you tried BB Couture yet and which are your favs?
