Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009

Afternoon folks! Once a long, long time ago, the sun was out in the Bay Area and I was able to do some swatching. The rain is supposed to be here for the next 9 days or so except maybe tomorrow, sigh. I am glad I got this new Misa Spring 2009 collection done to show you because IT. IS. AWESOME. Seriously I think it might, just might be my fav entire collection of Spring so far, or at least tied with Zoya’s. Pics taken in sun & shade with no top coat.

This is like 30-40% of the reason I love this collection so much. Teal is one of my very favorite colors for polish and we all so desperately needed a fabulous creme version. I mean really, could this be any better? The answer is no. The color, as I already said, is a beautiful medium teal that looks a little muted or “dusty” and totally opaque in two coats. It’s super creamy and smooth and a joy to apply (as are all the ones in this collection). The other fabulous thing about this collection is all the colors are exactly what you see in the bottle.

Misa On The Edge Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
On The Edge (Sun)

Misa On The Edge 2 Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
On The Edge (Shade)

On The Edge is a fabulous deep navy blue creme that is a lot like Essie’s Mesmerize, however this is a shade or two darker. This was two coats.

Misa Push Upon It Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
Push Upon It (Sun)

Misa Push Upon It 2 Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
Push Upon It (Shade)

Push Upon It is a very flattering raspberry pink/red creme that I just wore for three days straight with only minimal tip shrinkage/wear (which might have been from the Poshe top coat). This is two coats.

Misa Speed of Life Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
Speed Of Life (Sun)

Misa Speed of Life 2 Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
Speed Of Life (Shade)

Speed Of Life is a bright orange/tangerine that I wasn’t too sure I could pull off at first. But after two coats it looked freakin amazing and worked with my skin tone. I am loving all these new oranges that I can wear now!

The name of this one kinda bugs me but the color is great! This is what I would call a poppy red, which is to say it’s a bright red with some orange undertones, rather than pink undertones. This really surprised me, normally colors like this are just so-so to me, but I can totally see myself wearing this a lot in spring/summer. This was also two coats.

Right Here Now, No More Later (Sun)

Misa Right Here Now, No More Later 2 Misa Living On The Fast Lane Spring 2009
Right Here Now, No More Later (Shade)

This is another name that perplexes me and I cannot say right the first time no matter how hard I try. Beyond that though IT’S AWESOME!!!!! I mean come on, this is the perfect shade of bright robin’s egg blue. This was also two coats.

What do you guys think, which are your favs?

This collection can be found at Head 2 Toe Beauty here for $3.00 per bottle or Transdesign here for $2.99 per bottle.

Thank you for swatching these! I ordered Dirty Sexy Money last week and it arrived on Friday. WOW is the simplest way to describe it! It is unlike any teal polish I have ever come across before and as you said, it looks exactly the same on the nail as it does in the bottle – gorgeous! I imagine it would look good on any skin tone too.

Ooh, these are gorgeous. I especially love Dirty Sexy Money, On the Edge, Speed of Life (and I don’t go for oranges due to my pink skin tone), Stop Rewinding Just Fast Forward and Right Here Now No More Later.

On the Edge is probably my favorite even though I’m a tad scared it may be too dark for my skintone to pull off.

I really like how they all are cremes and I can actually order them (unlike the last post)!

I love this collection! I am so happy that I took advantage of Scrangie’s promotion and tried Misa’s polishes. The formula is really great and they are so easy to apply. I am wearing Speed of Life today and think that is the perfect, most wearable orange creme. But, Dirty Sexy Money is probably my favorite of the collection.

I loved Dirty Sexy Money too! So unusual and it looks great on shorter nails. Some creamy polishes don’t, imho. Now that I see Speed of Life on you, I must own it.
