As promised, here are the warm colors from the China Glaze Romantique collection. Personally I liked the cool set a bit better because I am fair and some of these don’t mesh as well with my skin tone, but they are still pretty. All were only two coats and again all had really nice application and pigmentation. Pictures taken in sunlight with no top coat.
Good Friday afternoon Vampies! It feels like it’s been an eternity since the sun has come out ’round these parts! I was finally able to do some swatches of the China Glaze Romantique Spring 2009 collection. Today I am bringing you the cool colors, which were my favs. Since I am blue/grey eyed and blonde haired with fair skin, cool colors always look better on me. All these went on fabulously in only two coats and extremely smooth and buttery. They are metallics and tend to streak if you go too fast or thick, so take your time when applying. Pics taken in sun with no top coat. Hope you like!

It’s hump day yet again Vampies! I apologize for the lack of posting lately. You see, it’s been really foggy and gross here and with no sun, I cannot take any decent nail polish pics. My house is like a cave, I do not exaggerate. We have to turn the lights on in the hallway even at high noon in summer because its so dark! Whoever designed that house needs a piece of my mind, but that’s a whole other ballgame…Anyhoo, I am hoping to get a light box for X-mas and if not, I will be creating one because this simply will not do. I have some lovely China Glaze and Essie swatches to show you soon including some spring ones! I also ordered another round of Carolyn New York to show you (they updated their website and now it’s much more user friendly and cool, check it out!). I thought I would bring you a list of a few of my favorite things to try and keep you entertained today. Oh and by the by, this doesn’t include nail polish because I think that’s obvious!
