48 hours later, Zoya Kalista going strong!
So it’s been almost 48 hours since I put on Zoya’s Kalista with the Color-Lock System and it’s going strong! Yesterday I did have to fix a chip, but it was my fault. You see, I was taking down office Halloween decorations and there was lots of peeling off tape on the back of paper skeletons involved. I have been typing away like a mad woman at work all day and not any noticeable tip wear either! Could this be it Ladies & Gents? Could it be, I have fallen in love…with a top/base coat? If you didn’t catch it, I was mocking that extremely annoying Sprint cell phone ad when the girl falls in love with a phone (I watch a lot of TV). Lame. Anyhoo, stay tuned for tomorrow’s installment of “Is she in love or isn’t she?” Oh and by the by, I know I am not clutching a polish bottle in the pic. I do love polish, but not enough to carry it around with me to work crazy people. Instead, I am holding my current fav lip gloss by Benefit which is called “Talk To My Agent” and it ROCKS!

Thanks for posting the review of the color lock system. I will try it out. I just purchased my first Zoya polish(es) and love them. If it helps the life of the manicure…I am all for it.

I love the color.. I’ll have to try it as well as the Color Lock System. Do you find Zoya at stores or do you have to order it on line? Which stores do you find it?
I just love Zoya polishes, but never tried their base- or top. Still, I got five days out of Yasmeen for instance, without a chip. Anastasia too.
Anyway, now I want my Kalista to arrive even more than before. It looks so gorgeous!
And I am in love too, but with ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly…

Hi Sminkan – Wow 5 days out of Yasmeen is awesome, especially without their top/base coat. I am now on day 3 with Kalista and had just two VERY tiny chips on my thumbs. ManGlaze is awesome, I love both Fuggen Ugly and The Death Tar!

Maybe I should try zoyas b/c and t/c:) Even though I’ve had good luck with nail tek and poshé with zoya too:)
Did you have any bubbling issues like it seems like some people have with the Color-Lock System?
Hi Sanna – I am on day 4 now and they still look pretty good! I think I will take it off tonight though since I do have two small chips and some tip wear (not to mention I never wear one color this long so I am kind of going crazy for a new color!). The system really impressed me because I have never had more than 48 hours of decent wear from any combo BC/TC before! I did not have any bubbling issues with this, but I also used their quick dry drops which they say helps. I will definitely be using the system again on more of their polishes to see if it works as good on all colors.
